Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everything had been put to a hold and that included beach soccer. After a few long months of not participating in any soccer related activities, The Bahamas Men Beach Soccer National Team is eager to get back to training and have another opportunity to travel and compete. It wasn’t an easy task to make these training sessions happen but the BFA made a proposal to allow the national teams to continue training.
The Bahamas Football Association has put a few protocols in place to decrease the risk of spreading COVID-19 to any players or members. Some of the protocols are wearing a mask when coming into the Beach Soccer Stadium, each player’s temperature is checked and recorded before each session, only players and coaching staff are permitted to enter the facility, maintain social distancing (before, during and after training), and players are to bring their own sanitation items and training gear i.e. water, towels etc.
