Ashya Butler has a remarkable amount of playing time as a freshman midfielder for the Northeastern Oklahoma (NEO) A&M Lady Norse.
Butler played for Dynamos FC for a while then went off to college to play for NEO Lady Norse.
Butler has started seven of the eight games she has played in for the NEO A&M Lady Norse this season, and has scored eight times. A couple of her eight goals were game-winning kicks leading her team to stunning 1-0 victories over the Seminole State College Trojans and the Rose State Lady Raiders.
Butler has collected 17 points, 1 assist and she had 35 shots at goal this season. She has also started two of the last three games for the Lady Norse.
Butler and the Lady Norse play out of division one in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), and sport an 11-5-1 win/loss/tie record. A total of six of Butler’s eight goals came on their home field, the Red Robertson Field, in Miami, Oklahoma. They will host Rose State in their next game on October 29.
