The preliminary draw that’s been set by CONCACAF for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is here!
The first round draw, featured 35 member federations. The Bahamas has been placed in “Pot Five” along with Aruba, Turks and Caicos Islands, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Anguilla.
First Round: The following teams will be going head to head. Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Puerto Rico and The Bahamas
Second Round: The six group winners from the first round will play in a home-and-away, direct-elimination format:
1A v 1F – winner will be W1
1B v 1E – winner will be W2
1C v 1D – winner will be W3
The three winners above will then join the five highest-ranked nations in Concacaf, according to the FIFA Ranking on 16 July 2020, in the final round of qualifying: Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Honduras.
