NASSAU, The Bahamas – The Bahamas Football Association is ready for the start of soccer season beginning on Sunday, 18th September 2022 at the Roscow A.L. Davies Field. BFA Technical Director, Bruce Swan expressed his excitement about the new season and sees an uptick in interest in the sport with strong participation from the local clubs, PE teachers and Family Island leagues.
“We are very pleased with the level of engagement around the country regarding soccer and can see more young adults taking a keen interest in the sport. We encourage active lifestyles and play at all levels whether professional, amateur levels, participation in our Men’s and Women’s National teams, Senior League, through our youth organizations or national beach soccer teams,” he expressed.
This season has an exciting line-up of matches featuring all age levels in competitive and non-competitive play.
