Kevin Davies started coaching for Cavalier FC youth program in 2000 where he coach different age group thoughout the years. As of now he is still a coach for Cavalier FC and coaches the U-13 boys. In 2006, he was then called to be an assistant coach for the Bahamas Men’s National Team, U-23 Bahamas Men’s National Team in 2007, and in 2008 another opportunity as an assistant coach for U-20 Bahamas Men’s National Team.
In 2010, Mr Davies stepped up and became the head coach for the Men’s National Team, the U-17 Boys National Team, and the U-17 National Team in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Additionally, later in 2014 he was called back as an assistant coach for the U-17 Girls National Team.
Davies then gain his title as head coach once again training the U-15 Girls National Team in 2016 and 2018 and the U-17 Girls National Team in 2015, 2017 and 2019. As of today he is still training with the U-15 and U-17 Girls National Team and still holds the head coach position.
Kevin Davies aspired to become a coach because he wants to give back to the wonderful sport, soccer, that he grew up playing back in his day. He also wants to push young people to get what he received whiles playing soccer namely discipline, scholarships, meeting new people and travelling.
Coach Kevin Davies is one of the best coaches the Bahamas National Teams could have asked for. Every player he came in contact with, he left an impact on them and to reminded them to give one hundred percent of effort, one hundred percent of the time.
