The Bahamas lost 1-0 to The British Virgin Islands during the Caribbean Football Union/ CONCACAF U-17 Qualifiers Tournament in Suriname.
The Bahamas dominated the first half of the game but still did not get the chance to score. They kept pushing to take the lead and tried to start the tournament off with a win. The first half ended in a 0-0 between the teams.
In the second half the pace and intensity began to pick up and both teams were eager to score. BVI confidence had grown and the game was in their favor. Just over 2 minutes to go in the game Tyler Forbes from BVI got an opportunity to score and he did, making the game 1-0.
The Bahamas worked harder and tried their best equalized the game to make it a draw but didn’t succeed.
