At the US Beach Soccer National Championships in San Diego, California during December 6-8, 2019, The Bahamas Women’s National Team played against Shoreline BSC and unfortunately the lost them 6-3.
Despite losing the Women put up an amazing fight on the pitch especially young Asia Williams. Williams was experiencing flu-like symptoms during the trip and couldn’t play the first game, even though she wasn’t feeling well, Asia Williams is the youngest and smallest on the team and scored her first astonishing International Beach Soccer goal in her first game coming back form her illness.
Scoring along with Williams was A’Shya Butler and Annisa Albury.
Shoreline BSC scored in the 9′, 10′, 20′, the Bahamas scored in the 22′, 24′, 28′ making it 3-3. Then Shoreline got 3 more goals in the 31′, 36′ and 38′ ending the game 6-3.
