ALAJUELA, Costa Rica – Lesly St. Fleur scored five goals to lead Bahamas to a big win over Dominican Republic in the 2021 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship on Tuesday at the Sports Complex Fedefutbol-Plycem in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
St. Fleur, a member of the Bahamas National Team that will compete this summer in the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup Prelims, was the man of the hour in leading Bahamas to a 10-2 win against the Dominican Republic in Group B.
Having scored for his country during the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League, St. Fleur achieved the same feat on Tuesday in the CBSC with five goals against the Dominican Republic.
Timothy Munnings added a brace, while Kyle Williams, Gary Joseph and Wood Julmis chipped in with goals. A Bahamas own goal and a Miguel Moreta goal accounted for the Dominican Republic’s scoring.
